SMART PERFORMANCE THAT OPTIMIZES YOUR OPERATION
In high-traffic spaces, hygiene is constant, replenishment must be efficient, and every product needs to deliver maximum performance. Supermarkets, shopping malls, transit hubs, gyms, clinics, and other busy venues face a daily challenge: maintaining cleanliness without slowing down the momentum.
Here, supplies shouldn't just be functional—they must be strategic.
In educational institutions, hygiene is vital for the learning, safety, and well-being of students, teachers, and staff. From the classroom to the cafeteria and restrooms, maintaining clean spaces is essential to building a healthy and responsible environment.
Education begins with example, and cleanliness habits are also taught.
Public institutions—such as ministries, municipalities, community centers, and government buildings—must ensure clean, safe, and functional spaces for thousands of people every day. In these environments, hygiene is a commitment to citizens and a reflection of responsible management.
Cleanliness is an essential part of efficient public management focused on citizen well-being.
In the HORECA world, every detail adds to the guest experience. Hotels, restaurants, and cafés don't just offer services; they deliver memorable moments where cleanliness, presentation, and efficiency must be flawless.
In this competitive environment, hygiene is not an afterthought—it is a core part of your brand promise.
In industrial environments, hygiene is key to organization, safety, and operational continuity. Whether in production plants, logistics centers, laboratories, or workshops, having efficient and heavy-duty products directly impacts productivity and team health.
Where the work is tough, your supplies must be engineered to match.
In office spaces, hygiene goes beyond standard maintenance—it is a core pillar of well-being, productivity, and organizational image. Clean, safe, and functional spaces elevate the experience for employees, visitors, and clients alike.
In an environment where efficiency and professionalism are paramount, the products you choose also communicate your standards.
In clinics, hospitals, medical offices, and care centers, cleanliness goes beyond appearance—it means protection, prevention, and trust. Every space must be prepared to meet the highest hygiene standards, leaving no margin for error.
In the healthcare sector, hygiene is a shared responsibility.

We are proud that more than 90% of our products are made from 100% recycled fiber, making GrandBay – Painsa Centroamérica a true ally to the environment. We believe in the continuous improvement of our processes as a means to ensure the lowest environmental impacts regarding resource consumption and industrial waste.
Recycling is part of our daily life, and we believe in reforestation as a long-term solution to mitigate environmental degradation and curb climate change.
Based on this analysis, opportunities for emission reductions are identified, driving us toward a more sustainable operation and the production of paper with a lower environmental impact.
In water management, we have achieved efficiency levels significantly higher than industry averages, positioning ourselves as one of the most efficient operations within the group globally.
We utilize recirculation systems that reincorporate treated water back into our processes, reducing extraction from natural sources. Furthermore, our commitment to care has led us to close water circulation loops in specific areas where open systems were no longer required, allowing for better performance in our environmental indicators and favoring the consumption of clarified water.
These steps mean a lot, not only for our company but also for the legacy we want to leave in the world. Therefore, we invite you to take small steps every day to care for water: turn off the faucets, do not waste it, and reuse it whenever possible.
Every effort counts.
Wastewater is water that has been affected by any given activity; it is water that is not suitable for consumption, nor should it come into contact with people. Large corporations generate two types of wastewater: domestic—the same water we all use in restrooms and kitchens, which must be treated so it never reaches rivers or oceans—and industrial, which we use in our processes and must be treated biologically and chemically to remove any contamination.
At GrandBay – Painsa Centroamérica, we have made significant efforts on both fronts to protect our water resources and prevent water waste. To achieve this, we rely on advanced treatment systems.
For us, it will never be enough, because when you are a true believer in sustainability, you know you can always do more. That is why we invite you to make the same efforts at home. Avoid wasting water and remember that you can reuse shower water for other chores, thereby reducing our environmental footprint and protecting our water resources.
Energy is a resource we are often not consciously aware of. We use it all the time, almost mindlessly to charge cell phones, to cook, to watch television essentially for everything, every single day. Unfortunately, this mindlessness also leads us to consume it heavily while caring for it poorly, leaving cables plugged in or turning on more lights than we actually need.
At GrandBay – Painsa Centroamérica, we make dedicated efforts to protect the environment and reduce electricity consumption through the use of efficient technology that enhances electrical performance while lowering costs. In line with this, we upgraded all our conventional lighting to LED fixtures in both our production plant and administrative areas. These new lights save up to 90% in electricity use, drastically reducing environmental impact.
Similarly, we replaced all our electrical motors that suffered from low efficiency at the expense of high pollution. Today, we feature latest-generation motors that are highly efficient and consume less energy, allowing for a substantial improvement in the company’s environmental performance.
We know that conscious energy consumption is everyone’s job. Always remember to unplug your electrical appliances, look for efficient devices and lighting that cause less impact, and above all, live by this rule of thumb for electricity consumption: ‘if I don’t need it, I don’t turn it on.’
Together, we can care for the environment.
Thanks to an alliance with Zacapa Solar, solar power is harnessed to supply our production plant in Guatemala.
The Zacapa Solar plant generates 9 megawatts of power, which reduces the reliance on fossil fuels, optimizes energy consumption, and decreases environmental impact.
This effort has contributed to improving our energy consumption index and achieving the highest level of renewable source utilization within the company.
